Reshape your mind
Thursday 14 August – Sunday 17 August at Retreat centre Abhayaloka
What the Buddha offered us through his teaching and his own life of practice can be boiled down to one thing: Training. All Buddhist practice is in one way or another a form of training. Ethics, meditation and wisdom are all parts of the one great training and exploration we call the path of the Dharma.
On this retreat we will dive into a particular system of training from the Indo-Tibetan tradition - The Lo-jong or mind-training. Through eight short verses we will be faced with a powerful mix of inspiration and challenge aimed at liberating us and benefitting all living beings. The wisdom contained in these verses can and is to be drawn on both in meditation and in all other activities in life. If we do so, anything we meet can turn into an opportunity for growth and greater freedom.
Suvarnachandra (Finland) and Prasadacarin (Sweden) are both already inspired and up for the challenge of transforming their minds. Are you?
This retreat is for people who know the two meditations taught in Triratna centres. You can book now by paying a deposit 40€ and the rest closer to the retreat. Please book by 8.8.2025

All food at the retreat is vegan, which we prepare together. In addition, dairy cheese will be available for those who want it. We provide gluten-free crispbread and rice cakes, but if you want fresh gluten-free bread, please bring it with you.
